I waited a few days to see this movie, give time for the dust to settle, let some good intelligence build up to be gathered, and finally after seeing 10,000 people give an average of 7/10 stars on my usual source, imdb, i went in and paid my money for Beowulf.

Funny but not as funny as it should have been.
Opportunities lost left and right for another witticism or a smart remark and a competent cast that does it’s best with the direction and material given.
